Together with the three pilot Max Planck Schools – Cognition, Matter to Life and Photonics – we are very much looking forward to welcoming the PhD candidates of the fifth cohort this fall. As Chairs of the Steering Committee of the Max Planck Schools, we cordially invite you to attend the annual Max Planck Schools Day on October 16, 2023 from 12 p.m. (CEST) onward at Arena Berlin. We are very pleased to use this day for exchange and networking for the fifth time in a row. This year, our event will focus on “The role of (fundamental) science amidst global (climate) crisis“. Besides a panel with experts from different disciplines and interactive workshops, Prof. Isabel Dziobek, Fellow of the Max Planck School of Cognition, will speak about her passion for science and how this feeds into our program. Additionally, we will hear from three PhD candidates about the interests that drive their research.
Join us for a lively event at the Arena Berlin to celebrate the start of the new academic year ahead, and take the opportunity to meet and network with PhD candidates, Fellows, representatives from partner organizations, as well as other supporters of the Max Planck Schools.
